In two seasons, ranks fourth on the UA all-time passing yards list (4,371), fourth on the UA career passing touchdowns list (31), fourth on the UA completions list (385) and fourth on the UA pass attempts list (674) ... Also ranks sixth on the UA total offense list (4,373 yards).
Junior (2008): Had one of the best seasons at the position in UA history ... Threw for 2,748 yards (fourth on the UA season list), 20 touchdowns (third on the UA season list) and had 2,794 yards of total offense (fourth on the UA season list) ... He also completed 57.9 percent of his passes, fifth behind Charlie Frye who completed at least 58 .8 percent of his passes in each of his four years with the Zips. (58.8, 65.8, 64.8 and 63.6) ... Although he ranked between fifth and seventh in the MAC in the major QB statistical categories for 2008, he ranked no lower than 45th in the NCAA in those same categories ... Nationally, was 35th in completions per game (19.25), 36th in passing yards per game (229.0), 37th on total passing yards (2,748) and 45th in total offense per game (232.83) ... Played what head coach J.D. Brookhart said was Jacquemain’s “most complete game” at Wisconsin, completing 22-of-36 passes for 227 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions ... Backed that performance by being named MAC East Offensive Player of the Week in the Zips’ win at Syracuse ... Completed 20-of-26 passes versus the Orange for 260 yards with three TDs as Akron  converted 10-of-14 third-down opportunities in the win ... Still, he threw for 269 yards against the Cardinals, his third-best career effort ... Completed his first seven passes at Army and finished by completing 14-of-25 for 204 yards with no picks and a score ... Turned in what Coach Brookhart said was a solid performance versus Cincinnati, managing the game ... Was named the FSN Ohio Offensive Player of the Game for his play versus the Bearcats, completing 26-of-40 passes for 254 yards and a TD ... Struggled at times at Kent State, but still managed a respectable 21-for-39 passing performance for 243 yards with two TDs ... However, after throwing three picks in the first half, he did bounce back to complete 14-of-24 passes for 136 yards with a TD and no interceptions after the break – including 4-of-5 completions for 40 yards in the overtimes ... None was more important as the 24-yard touchdown to Deryn Bowser on 4th-and-11 with 1:28 to go in regulation to give Akron a 24-21 lead ... Started slow at Eastern Michigan, completing just one of his first seven only to finish by completing 11-of-19 for 208 yards with two TDs ... Threw for three TDs in the Toledo win, completing 11-of-23 for 226 yards with a pick ... Threw for a season-high 295 yards, completing 20-of-38 passes and two TDs versus Buffalo ... Down seven with 4:07 to play versus the Bulls, Jacquemain completed 5-of-6 passes on a drive that tied the game ... Was 21-of-36 with a TD and no picks at Ohio ... Down seven with 8:02 to go, he led the Zips on an 11-play drive that consumed 5:50 to tie the game at 42-42 with 2:12 left to play.
Sophomore (2007): Won a tightly contested quarterback battle with Carlton Jackson, though shared the signal calling duties most of the season … Played in 11 of 12 games, serving as the starter for nine contests (Army, Ohio State, Indiana, Connecticut, Western Michigan, Temple, Buffalo, Miami and Central Michigan) … Ended the season completing 154-of-275 passes (.560) for 1,623 yards with 11 touchdowns and 10 interceptions … His 389 passing yards in a win at Western Michigan is a UA record for passing yards in a game by a sophomore and ranks eight overall on the UA charts … Also, his four TD passes at WMU ties for second-most in the UA record book … Completed 23 passes in a game twice (at Western Michigan and versus Central Michigan), which ties for 21st on the UA single-game list … Was especially effective early in games during the season ... In the first quarter, completed 51-of-70 passes (72.9 percent) ... From the Western Michigan game until his first pass at Miami (six games), completed 17 straight, first-quarter passes (last six at WMU, 4-of-4 vs. Temple and 7-of-7 at Buffalo) ... Lost starting role for the Kent State game only to earn it back for the Connecticut contest ... Solidified his position as the starter for his play at Western Michigan ... His first snap versus Army was his first game action since his senior year of high school (2004) ... In his debut, completed 14-of-24 passes for 125 yard with a TD against the Black Knights ... Versus Army, completed 13-of-his-first-15, during which time he was 4-of-4 with a 19-yard TD during a drive as the first half drew to a close ... Turned in career numbers at Western Michigan, completing 23-of-41 passes for 389 yards and four TDs ... In the first half at WMU, was 14-of-21, including a 60-yard score to Bryan Williams … Put the Zips in position to win with a 51-yard TD pass to Jabari Arthur with just under five minutes to play ... Completed 12-of-21 passes for 145 yards and two TDs versus Temple ... Completed 9-of-11 passes versus the Owls in the first half ... Was 7-of-7 passing in the first quarter at Buffalo and was 13-of-17 at halftime ... Finished the Buffalo game by completing 19-of-37 for 185 yards and two picks … Came off the bench to lead the Zips to a 48-37 win over Ohio .. Completed 14-of-23 passes for 197 yards with two TDs and an INT ... Was 5-of-7 passing both the second and third quarters for 152 yards … Was just 12-of-33 at Miami for 116 yards and two INTs … Rebounded in the season finale to complete 23-of-38 passes for 210 yards with a TD and INT ... Named a Scholar-Baller for posting at least a 3.0 GPA for the 2007-08 academic year.

Prior to Akron: A standout at wide receiver and quarterback during his career at Mentor HS ... Ranked as the 82nd-best prospect in the state, according to Ohio High Magazine ... A special mention All-Ohio choice as a senior quarterback … Passed for 1,715 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2004 … Also rushed for 714 yards … Selected first team All-Northeast Ohio and tabbed Lake Erie League Player of the Year in 2004 … Named first team Lake County News-Herald, Cleveland Plain Dealer and Lake County Touchdown Club … 2004 Mentor High School Offensive Player MVP … Selected first team All-Lake Geauga County in 2003 as a wide receiver after recording 32 receptions for 455 yards and 12 touchdowns … Earned a spot on the Cleveland Plain Dealer All-Star team as a junior when the Cardinals posted a 12-1 record and reached the Division I regional finals ... Transferred from Lake Catholic High School, where he began his prep career ...
