at Springboro HS: Primarily played shortstop and catcher...Following his senior campaign, Sheltrown was named Greater Western Ohio Conference South Player of the year...Made the All-GWOC First Team...Earned the distinction of Most Valuable Player in his senior campaign...Was named to the All-Miami Valley First Team, All-State First Team and selected to compete in the Mizuno All-Ohio game following his senior year...Helped lead Springboro to back-to-back-to-back GWOC South Championships...Garnered Greater Western Ohio Conference South special mention honors as a sophomore and was named to the Greater Western Ohio Conference South Second Team as a junior...Helped lead Springboro to a 19-6 record as a freshman....Showed excellent leadership and was voted team captain in his freshman season...Lettered in baseball for three years...Also lettered in football for two years, spending time at safety and wide receiver...Was a scholar athlete in 2009 and served as team captain.
