December Student-Athlete Graduates Honored at Luncheon

AKRON, Ohio - University of Akron coaches, administrators, and various campus support staff personnel gathered on Friday for a luncheon to honor 19 Zips student-athletes, representing nine varsity sports, who will complete their undergraduate degree and graduate later this month.

The event, which was held on the Towpath Credit Union Press Level of InfoCision Stadium - Summa Field, included remarks by Director of Athletics Tom Wistrcill and Associate Athletics Director for Student-Athlete Academic Services Anne Jorgensen. Additionally, a coach from each sport represented provided insight into what their respective graduating student-athlete(s) achieved during collegiate careers.
