GAME 1: Zips vs. Temple (Salute to Heroes Day)
Saturday, September 10  •  6 p.m.

Join us as we remember the 10 year anniversary of 9-11 and salute the heroes both foreign and abroad who project our country. Discounted ticket packages are available to family and friends of all military, police, fire and safety as well as employees of both the city of Akron and Summit County, and local motorcycle organizations.

Our "Stars and Stripes" ticket program gives a FREE ticket to any active, reserve and retired members of the armed services to any Zips' exhibition or regular-season home game. All military personnel with a valid military identification card may receive one general admission ticket for any football, men's & women's basketball and men's and women's soccer game (while supplies last). To redeem a complimentary ticket, armed services members must present their ID at the C.P. and Cornelia S. Chima Athletics Ticket Office.

GAME 2: Zips vs. Virginia Military Institute (Youth & Band Day)
Saturday, September 24  •  2 p.m.

All youth tickets are only $10. The first 1,500 youth will receive a mini helmet which they can decorate at decorationg stations and redeem at designated concession stands for a scoop of chocolate or French Vanilla ice cream. 

All Adults can receive $5 off any ticket by showing their AAA Card

Greek Night
Greek members will have the opportunity to participate in a pre-game tailgate at ZipsFest with free pizza. There will also be a banner contest for Greek members. The chapter with the most members in attendance will be recognized on the video board.  

Pizza and Pepsi for will be given away to the first 2,000 students in attendance.

GAME 3: Zips vs. Florida International (Homecoming)
Saturday, October 8  •  2 p.m.

All University of Akron employees, their family and friends are invited to a campus-wide employee picnic – complete with a meal, cash bar, live band and great raffle prizes – beginning at noon in Coleman Common and leading up to the Homecoming Football game at 2:00 p.m.

Cost includes game ticket and picnic.
Adults: $10.00
Youth: 2 Youth Tickets for $10 (Age 3-14)
**FREE for Faculty/Staff Football Season Ticket Holders

Students will receive a voucher at the football game for a t-shirt, which they can pick up at the men's soccer game that evening.

GAME 4: Zips vs. Ohio (Zippy "Heisman" Bobblehead Day and Men's Soccer Celebration)
Saturday, October 22  •  3:30 p.m.

The first 10,000 fans receive a Zippy bobblehead statue in the Heisman pose - a nod to UA's football history, as John Heisman once coached the Zips!

At 2 p.m., fans with a ticket to the football game can attend an exclusive 30-minute question-and-answer session with head coach Caleb Porter at FirstEnergy Stadium - Cub Cadet Field. Gates will open at 1:45 p.m.

Before the game, from 2:30 p.m. - 3:20 p.m., the men's soccer team and coach Porter will sign autographs inside InfoCision Stadium - Summa Field.

During the football game, we will recognize coach Porter and the 2010 National Champion Zips Men's Soccer Team on the field.
