August 27 vs. Cleveland State at 7:30pm
“National Championship Celebration”
-Pre-Match Pep Rally in the Field House for students
- Doors will open at 5:15pm
- Pizza will be provided (while supplies last)
- Coach Porter to address the crowd
- March to the Match immediately will follow
-Mini Championship Banner to the first 2,500 fans
-Unveiling of National Championship Banner
“MSOC Alumni Night”
- MSOC Alumni will be recognized at halftime
Friday,
September 16 vs. New Mexico at 7:00pm
“AK-Rowdies Night”
- Exclusive giveaway for AK-Rowdies members
Sunday, September 18 vs. Cal Poly at 6:00pm
“Free Youth Clinic”
- All youth (ages 5-13) are invited to pre-register for a free pre-game soccer clinic conducted by members of the Men’s Soccer team and coaching staff
- Clinic will be limited to the first 100 youth who sign up
Wednesday, September 28 vs. Ohio State at 7:30pm
“UA Pride Night”
- Turn in an Ohio State t-shirt and receive an Akron t-shirt
- All Ohio State T-Shirts will be donated
Saturday, October 8 vs. NIU at 7:30pm
“Camper Reunion Night”
- 2011 Akron Soccer Campers may redeem their camp vouchers for buy one get one free admission
-Students who attend the Akron vs. FIU football game that day will receive a voucher for a "This is Akron" t-shirt that they can redeem at the soccer game
Wednesday, October 12 vs. Penn State at 7:30pm
“Student Appreciation Night”
- Noisemakers for the first 500 Students
Saturday, October 15 vs. Hartwick at 7:30pm
“Kick for a Cure”
- Join effort with WSOC to promote cancer awareness and raise donations
- Special T-shirts will be pre-sold to raise donations for cancer awareness
- In-game activities will promote cancer awareness
Wednesday, October 26 vs. BGSU at 7:30pm
“Faculty/Staff Night”
- Faculty/Staff will be entered to win a TBD prize by showing their ZipCard at the marketing table
-Opportunity for students to purchase scarves
- Students must attend the MSOC games on 10/8, 10/15 and the WSOC game on 9/17 in order to receive a voucher to purchase a scarf
- Scarves will cost $5
Saturday, October 29 vs. Wake Forest at 7:30pm
“Senior Night”
- Seniors will be recognized in a pre-game ceremony
- All MSOC parents in attendance will be recognized at halftime
"Kick or Treat"
- Costume contest for students
Wednesday, November 2 vs. Michigan State at 7:30pm
“Kick It Forward”
- Bring a used soccer ball to donate and receive an Akron Soccer prize
"Greek Night"
- Greeks are challenged to bring the most members of their organization for a TBD prize
