2011 Akron Volleyball Promotions

2011 AKRON VOLLEYBALL PROMOTIONS

Friday, September 2^nd vs. Bradley at 7pm

“Student Block Party”

• Pre-game food will be provided for first 100 students
• Akron Volleyball T-Shirts will be given to the first 100 students in attendance
• Special in-game contests will be geared toward students and prizes and give-a-ways will be handed out
• Post-game autograph session in the lobby

Saturday, September 24^th vs. Ball State at 5pm

 “Youth Night”

• All youth teams in attendance will have the opportunity to make signs to support the team
• Participants will be recognized in-game
• Special in-game activities will be geared toward Youth Night Participants

Saturday, October 8^th vs. Kent State at 5pm

“Student Block Party”

• Pre-game food (Pizza or hot dogs) will be provided for first 100 students
• Akron Volleyball T-Shirts will be given to the first 100 students in attendance
• Special in-game contests will be geared toward students and prizes and give-a-ways will be handed out
• Post-game autograph session in the lobby

Saturday, October 15^th vs. Western Michigan at 5pm

“Dig for a Cure”

• Pink Akron Volleyball t-shrits will be sold in the lobby
• A pink-themed gift basket will be auctioned off
• Representatives from Akron Children’s Hospital will have a table in the lobby and speak to the crowd between sets

Saturday, November 5^th vs. Bowling Green at 5pm

“Senior Night”

• Senior Players will also be recognized and honored during the game

“Tie” Up the Season

• Fans will be encouraged to wear ties and donate ties to the “Professional Attire Clothing Drive” to benefit Law Leadership Institute Students
• All fans wearing/donating ties will receive a TBD Akron Volleyball prize
