Welcome to The University of Akron Athletics Speakers Bureau. In support of the mission of the Department of Athletics the Athletics Speakers Bureau has been formed as a community outreach program, with the intent to make it easier for groups and organizations to have members of the department speak at their events with no cost to the organization.

We have a number of coaches and administrators available for your next non-profit meeting, event or fundraiser. Speakers are available to discuss not only specific intercollegiate athletic programs, but also the behind-the-scenes aspects of Division I Intercollegiate Athletics.

Due to NCAA rules, the Akron Athletics Department may NOT accept requests from or which will benefit the following groups:

- High Schools- Preparatory Schools
- Junior Colleges
- Youth athletics organizations that include prospects or other organizations that include young people defined by the NCAA as a prospect young people in grades nine and up who have yet to enroll full-time in a university) or their teachers or coaches.

If you would like to request a Zips coach or staff member to speak at your next event, simply click here to fill out an online version of the request form (also linked at the top of this article) or fax in a printable PDF request form (also linked at the top of this article). Please submit your request four weeks prior to the date of your event. You will be notified within one week from the date your request is received.
