Friday: 6 - 9 p.m. (learn fight song, tuck check and first cuts) Saturday: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. (stunt clinic, tumble clinic & second cuts) Sunday: 12 noon - ? (final tryouts, mandatory meeting for new team) Sunday's tryouts will consist of the following: - Appearance - University of Akron Fight Song - Given chant with incorporated skill (standing tuck, jump, etc) - Running Tumbling a. round off BHS series with layout b. optional series to a full - Standing Tumbling a. standing tuck b. toe BHS tuck c. combo jump sequence to tuck d. standing 2 BHS to optional - Partner Stunting a. chair b. liberty c. optional (show of flexibility) d. one of these stunts needs to be cradled (straight or twisting) |
