Akron Basketball Announces $10 Ticket Special for Youngstown State Games

AKRON, Ohio – Fans wanting to catch the upcoming action between the men's and women's basketball teams against Youngstown State can now see both contests for the low price of $10.
The women's team will play host to the Penguins on Sunday, Dec. 18, at 2 p.m. ET in Rhodes Arena while the men's squad will face off against YSU on Monday, Dec. 19, at 7 p.m.
The men's contest on Monday will serve as the Sixth Annual Teddy Bear Toss game. Fans are encouraged to bring a teddy bear or stuffed animal to donate to The Salvation Army. At halftime of the game, fans will be asked to throw the stuffed toys onto the court for collection. Fans can also donate other toys to Victims Assistance throughout the evening in the JAR lobby.
In addition to the ticket special, the first 100 fans to both games will receive a limited addition Akron Zips Christmas ornament. Fans will also be able to take part in several winter craft stations before each game.
Fans wishing to purchase this deal can do so in person from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET on Mondays through Fridays by either calling 1-888-99-AKRON (25766) or visiting The C.P. and Cornelia S. Chima Athletics Ticket Office at InfoCision Stadium - Summa Field (located at 375 E. Exchange Street, near Gate 1 at the southwest corner of the venue, at the corner of E. Exchange and S. Union streets).
