Zippy's Top 10: Submit Your Story for Zippy's Year in Roo-View

Good morning Zips Fans!

What an exciting two weeks it has been counting down the top stories of the 2010-11 season. It was just as exciting to relive the moments as it was to witness them in person.

From Scott Caldwell's goal to Alex Feltes earning Academic All-America honors, there was a lot to be proud of last season. In case you missed any of the stories in the countdown, here is a quick rundown:

No. 10: Alex Feltes (Softball) earns Capital One Academic All-America Second Team honors.

No. 9: Chris Bassitt and Drew Turocy's selection in the 2011 Major League Baseball draft.

No. 8: Tina Dimitrijevs battles through an early-season injury to earn All-MAC honors.

No. 7: Men's golf takes down seven ranked teams to win the Illini Spring Classic.

No. 6: Women's golf captures its first team title in program history at the Third Annual Zippy Invitational.

No. 5: Kara Murphy (Women's Basketball) rewrites the recordbook as the program's all-time leading scorer.

No. 4: Men's track and field sweeps the indoor and outdoor MAC titles for the first time in program history.

No. 3: Women's tennis captures first MAC title and earns first NCAA Tournament bid in program history.

No. 2: Men's basketball uses a late-season run to win the MAC Tournament title and advance to the NCAA Tournament.

No. 1: Men's soccer wins the 2010 National Title, the first team national title in school history.
