Zips Visit Children's Hospital

During the week of September 19th -23rd, The University of Akron’s student-athletes celebrated ‘Sport’s Week’ with the kids at the Children’s Hospital. Student-athletes and coaches from women’s soccer, men and women’s basketball, swimming & diving, football, softball, women’s golf, and baseball spent over 20 hours making crafts, painting, making pillows, signing autographs, coloring, and talking with several patients at the hospital. Majority of the student-athletes made multiple trips to visit the kids and are all looking forward to going back in the very near future!
