AKRON, Ohio – The University of Akron Department of
Athletics and the Akron IMG Sports Network will be providing Zips
fans more access than ever during the fall sports season through
its live video streaming capabilities and radio partnership with
flagship station SportsRadio 1350 AM (WARF).
For the first time, live video streams for all home football, men's and women's soccer, and volleyball contests will be provided – free of charge – on GoZips.com and the Mid-American Conference Digital Network. Fans will be able to watch over 35 events involving UA's fall sports teams.
The action gets underway on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET when the defending national champion UA men's soccer team plays host to Cleveland State in its season opener with a chance to set the NCAA record for the longest home unbeaten streak, which currently stands at 39 games.
