Ianello, Jones and LaBadie Guests on Monday's Zips Live

AKRON, Ohio – University of Akron head football coach Rob Ianello and women's and men's head cross country coaches Scott Jones and Lee LaBadie, respectively, will be the guests on Monday's Zips Live. Bill Morgan serves as host of the program.

The weekly hour-long radio show covering Zips Athletics airs locally from 7-8 p.m. ET on Akron-IMG Sports Network flagship SportsRadio 1350 AM (WARF). The broadcast can also be heard via webstream on the WARF homepage (click on the Listen Live tab in the top left corner).

Ianello will be on each week throughout the season during the final 30 minutes of the program.

The show normally originates from the Winking Lizard Tavern in nearby Fairlawn (25 Ghent Road), but due to this week's Labor Day holiday and a scheduling conflict with the restaurant, the show will be broadcast from inside InfoCision Stadium – Summa Field on the UA campus and will not be open to the public.

Ianello and his squad face off against Mid-American Conference East Division foe Temple in the season's home opener on Saturday at 6 p.m. ET.

Jones and LaBadie's teams compete in their lone home meet of the season on Thursday – the 43rd-annual Tommy Evans Invitational. Held at Firestone Metro Park, the men's race begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by the women's race at 6:15 p.m.
