Parking Advisory for Saturday's Athletics Events on Campus

AKRON, Ohio – Fans who will be visiting campus on Saturday for the women's and men's basketball doubleheader at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. ET, respectively, in Rhodes Arena should be aware that the southeast corner of campus will be the center of much activity as the Zips will also play host to the 44-school Akron Invitational in Stile Athletics Field House, and Ocasek Natatorium will be the site of a local high school swim meet.

Because of the expected crowds for those events, UA Athletics recommends that fans allow more time to park on campus, especially near Rhodes Arena. Lot 1, the east parking deck at the corner of Carroll and Spicer streets, is a convenient option that is free. Track and field fans are urged to park in Lot 9 on the south end of InfoCision Stadium – Stadium Summa Field.

Tickets can be purchased online anytime at GoZips.com/tickets, or from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET on Mondays through Fridays by either calling 1-888-99-AKRON (25766) or visiting The C.P. and Cornelia S. Chima Athletics Ticket Office at InfoCision Stadium - Summa Field (located at 375 E. Exchange Street, near Gate 1 at the southwest corner of the venue, at the corner of E. Exchange and S. Union streets).
