View Zips Illustrated Volume 1; Issues 1-4 

AKRON, Ohio – The fourth edition of the inaugural volume of Zips Illustrated, the official online magazine of The University of Akron Department of Athletics, is now available on GoZips.com.

This interactive web-based publication provides an exclusive, inside look at UA's 19 NCAA varsity sports and 450-some student-athletes with videos interspersed throughout the magazine-style layout.

Zips Illustrated is designed for fans, donors, season ticket holders, letterwinners and alumni, and will be published at least four times annually.

Highlights from the fourth issue include:

• Video coverage of Zips Basketball Media Day,
• A complete review of Akron's fall sports teams,
• A season preview of UA's men's and women's basketball programs,
• A look at men's soccer coach Caleb Porter's appointment as U23 National Team coach,
