On Friday, Oct. 29, the University of Akron men's and women's basketball teams hosted a free Halloween Hoops event inside James A. Rhodes Arena. More than 800 total people, which included more than 300 children dressed in their Halloween outfits, attended the event which featured numerous activities, games and free candy.
