Kirsty O'Connor is in her second season as the graduate assistant for the Zips, joining Head Coach Jenny King's staff after a success collegiate career at Ball State.

A 2010 graduate of BSU, she was a four-year letterwinner for the Cardinals, posting eight top-five finishes, including two individual wins and two runner-up finishes. Additionally, she posted 15 top-15 and 25 top-25 finishes and set school records for 18-hole (69) and 36-hole (143) scores. She completed her career with a 77.33 career scoring average, which ranks second in Ball State history.

In 2009, she was named the Mid-American Conference Sportswoman of the Year. She also earned Second-Team All-MAC in 2008 and was named MAC Golfer of the Week on four occasions during her career.

She earned her bachelor's degree in German, with a minor in French. She earned NGCA Academic All-American Scholar and MAC Honor Roll status all four years, in addition to earning the MAC Commissioners and MAC Presidential awards.

Born in Burnley, England, she was the 2008 Welsh Ladies National Champion and was a representative for Wales at the 2008 European Ladies Team Championships in Sweden.
