After taking a 1-0 match lead by earning a hard-fought doubles point, Akron improved its lead to 2-0 thanks to a 6-2, 6-0 win by Angelina Jogasuria over Mandy Brown at No. 4 singles, but Louisville (3-4) would even the score at 2-all with wins in order at No. 6 and 5.
