"It's exciting to see both Ina and Ika playing at such a high level," third-year head coach Brandon Padget said. "The players they defeated in doubles, and those that Ina defeated in singles are outstanding. It shows just how talented they are, and how well they can play when they are 100 percent focused. I'm extremely proud of their effort. If we see this level of play this season, they can have a very special senior year."

Akron begins the fall component of its schedule on Sept. 14-16 in Columbus, Ohio, at the Collegiate Invitational, a clay court event. The dual-match portion of the season starts on Friday, Jan. 18 at home versus Middle Tennessee State.
