AKRON, Ohio – Mid-American Conference play continues for the Zips women's tennis squad with a dual match at Buffalo on Saturday. First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET.

Saturday's contest with the Bulls begins a stretch of three-straight road contests to close out the regular season for the Zips, who come off a 5-2 home victory over Western Michigan last Saturday. UA won at the first and third doubles flights to take a 1-0 lead, then claimed No. 1, 2, 3, and 5 singles in straight sets to clinch match point and hand WMU its first loss in league action this season.

Akron enters the weekend 15-8 overall and 3-2 versus the MAC, while Buffalo is 11-3 and 2-3 in those categories. The Zips own a 11-7 all-time record when facing the Bulls and have claimed four-straight victories over them, including a win in the quarterfinal round of the 2011 MAC tournament. Buffalo comes off a 5-2 decision over Bowling Green last Saturday and will be playing at home for the third-straight time.

UA's No. 1 doubles team of Angelina Jogasuria and Prang Pantusart is ranked 76th nationally and owns a 15-0 record this season (5-0 MAC).

The two-time defending league tournament champion Zips close out the regular season at Toledo on April 19 and Eastern Michigan on April 20. The conference tournament runs April 26-28 and will be hosted by Ball State in Muncie, Ind.
