YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Playing with an altered lineup due to injury, the Akron women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to Youngstown State on Saturday at Boardman Tennis Center.

UA's Madison Cohen was out of the lineup due to injury. She normally teams with Zerbola and the two have combined for a 5-0 mark in doubles this season.
"At some point I would love to see our actual lineup on the court," fourth-year UA head coach Brandon Padgett said. "Youngstown played very well today, and we didn't do enough to step up and play at the level it took to win."
Akron visits the Pacific Northwest next weekend to compete at Portland State on Friday and Oregon one day later. The Zips return home on Saturday, March 8 when they host Duquesne and Butler in a doubleheader. Those matches will begin at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., respectively.
