The University of Akron invites you to our Skills Camp! Individual
Skills Camp provides opportunities for players at all levels to
improve fundamental Skills. Campers will work on all aspects of the
game including passing, serving, setting and attacking through fast
paced drills and game like situations. Participants will be grouped
according to age and skill level. The Akron volleyball staff and
players will be giving special attention and instruction to all
campers ensuring a challenging, but fun atmosphere.

Our clinics are designed to focus on one specific skill set. Each
clinic is designed to challenge players with a high number of
contacts along with specific skill instruction from our camp staff.
If players are coming in from out of town to attend the Individual
Skills Camp and want to stay for any of the clinics, housing
arrangements can be made through Jayme Plummer at (330)
972-7438.
July 18
Setting Clinic – 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Attacking Clinic – 2 p.m.-5:30 p.m.
July 19
Defense Clinic – 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Serve Receive/Serving – 2 p.m.-5:30 p.m.
The University of Akron Volleyball Skills Camp and Clinics are
open to any and all participants grades 5-12.

Team Camp I (July 13-15)
Competition Team Camp
I

Commuter: $200
Our Competition Team Camp balances instruction with
competition. Teams will train with our camp staff Saturday
and Sunday morning before the competition portion of the camp
begins. This will allow teams time to correct any
deficiencies recognized in previous match play. Teams will
compete against each other along with teams from the Summer Spike
Team Camp.
Summer Spike Team Camp I

Commuter: $150
Run in conjunction with our Competition Team Camp the Summer Spike
Team Camp is a great opportunity to get in quality competitions
before you start the fall season. Competitions start at 1pm
each day and end at 8pm. Teams in the Sumer Spike Camp will
be combined with the teams from the Competition Team Camp in a
tournament format schedule for the chance to become champions of
the University of Akron Team Camp! Teams can expect to have a
high number of quality competitions throughout the weekend.
