Attention Zips Baseball alumni and friends: our golf outing is right araound the corner! After our run in the MAC Tournament this past spring, we would love to have you out for a great day at The Quarry Golf Club on Saturday, September 27. The shotgun start will be at 1:30pm. We look forward to seeing you out at the course!

Join Zips Football on the road as we travel to Pittsburgh for an ACC matchup with the Panthers. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m. ET.
At this time, we are only able to sell tickets for seats on the bus. Game tickets can be purchased by contacting the ticket office at The University of Pittsburgh at 800-643-PITT (7488).
The bus will be departing from the James A. Rhodes Arena (373 Carroll St.) at 8:30 am on Saturday, September 27, 2014. Please arrive to the arena by 8:00 am. Guests can park in Lot 1 (the parking deck on the corner of Carroll St. and Spicer St.).
Please be aware that this is the day of the Akron Marathon. We recommend that guests consult this list of road closures to ensure timely arrival to the arena:
The bus will depart Akron promptly at 8:30 am and will be traveling to Pittsburgh without stopping along the way.
Kickoff time is 1:30 pm. The bus will arrive in Pittsburgh at approximately 10:30 am and will be parking in the "North Lincoln Lot" (approximately 1 1/2 blocks from Gate C of Heinz Field) for a Zips Pre-game Tailgate. Information and online registration for the tailgate is available on the Z-Fund Events main page.

Zips Gameday Tailgate at Heinz Field

Join Zips Football on the road as we host a tailgate for our fans and friends before the Akron v. Pitt game on Saturday, September 27th. Kickoff time is 1:30 pm, and the tailgate will begin at approximately 10:30 am in the North Lincoln Lot near Heinz Field (lot is located 1 ½ blocks from Gate C of the stadium).
The cost is just $30 per person, which includes the following:
- Smoked Brisket
- Pulled Chicken
- Pulled Pork
- Hickory Baked Beans
- Potato Salad
- Coca-Cola products
Pricing for children under 12 available upon request.

Zips Women's Volleyball Alumnae Reception

Join the Zips Women's Volleyball team at the James A. Rhodes Arena for their match again Toledo at 5:00 pm and join Head Coach Ron Arenz, his coaching staff, and team for a post-game reception with heavy hors d'oeuvres and soft drinks in Tommy Evans Lounge (around 7:00 pm).
Price: $10 for Adults
$5 for Children (12 and under; children under 2 admitted free)
Price includes game ticket, entry to post-game reception, and gift bag for all alumnae in attendance.
All Zips Volleyball Alumnae in attendance will be recognized on court during the game 2/game 3 intermission.

Zips Men's Basketball Gildan Charleston Classic Travel Plan
November 19-24, 2014
Fans can now reserve their spot for the trip, which includes round trip airfare from Cleveland to Charleston on United Airlines, five nights at the Marriott Charleston Hotel, transportation to and from the airport, in addition to TD Arena, a ticket for each of the three Zips games and a meal with Head Coach Keith Dambrot and the team. Also, fans will be able to reserve a golf package for an additional cost.
The cost of the trip is $1,019 per person and is based on double occupancy. A $200 per person deposit is required to reserve a spot, with final payment due by October 1.
